The baby grand piano — worth $27,000 — stolen from the Toronto General Hospital ten days ago has been recovered by police in Mississauga.

PREVIOUSLY: Police are looking for three men suspected to swiping a baby grand piano from Toronto General Hospital.

Police say two of the three suspects went to the downtown hospital’s Peter Munk Wing on July 14 just before 1 p.m. and lifted a a Boston Steinway Baby Grand Piano onto a dolly. It was then taken to a vehicle — a white Ford Cargo-style van — where the third suspect was waiting. They then made off with the pricey instrument.

All three suspects are described as 25-year-old men. One is white, 5’11”, 190 lbs., with short blonde hair and last seen wearing a black T-shirt. The second is black with black hair and was wearing a white and blue striped shirt, brown shorts, a dark baseball…

It’s a boy!

Kate Middleton has given birth to her first child with Prince William — a baby boy weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces born at 4:24 p.m.

An official birth announcement was posted on an easel outside Buckingham Palace, but no name was revealed.

The couple will remain in hospital overnight.

The little bundle of royal joy is third in line to the throne, behind Prince Charles and Prince Williams.

Landmarks throughout the Commonwealth will be lit up tonight to celebrate the new heir. In Toronto, the CN Tower will be lit in blue.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper offered his congratulations, saying “Canadians are delighted to learn of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s son, and we offer our heartfelt congratulations to the Royal Couple and the entire Royal Family.”
